Ahead of this year’s Xbox Game Showcase, a debate began on social media over whether Microsoft should mention the Playstation in presentations and trailers. In 2025, Phil Spencer announced that Xbox would now display logos for all platforms planning to release the game at its own show. Although Asha Sharma admitted that such a decision is a “failure for Xbox” and promised that the Xbox Game Showcase will be the last Microsoft event where the competing platform logo will be seen.

Mojang has released a new trailer for Minecraft Dungeons II, and below you can see how it ends – the platform list is only Xbox, PC, and Cloud, with a release on Game Pass also noted. There is no mention of Switch, Switch 2, Steam, or Playstation 5.
