Elegant smart glasses RayNeo iO unveiled – with them you don’t have to take out your smartphone

RayNeo has launched iO smart glasses, which are designed so that when connected to your smartphone, you don’t have to take them out every time. The device features a monochrome display, a set of microphones and support for artificial intelligence applications.

From the appearance, RayNeo iO is no different from ordinary glasses. Information from the monitor is projected slightly above the central area in the field of view. The monochrome green MicroLED display module takes up only 0.1 cubic centimeters of space; it is almost transparent and only 0.6 mm thick, meaning it cannot be seen from the outside, and the image brightness seen by users is as high as 1300 cd/m². The glasses weigh only 33 grams and are no different from regular glasses in this regard. The lightweight body accommodates a 240 mAh battery, four microphones, bone conduction sensors, and a control head like a smartwatch; there is an accelerometer and gyroscope to detect head movement and gesture control functions.

It’s important to stress that the RayNeo iO bone conduction module works in conjunction with the microphone to ensure clear sound is captured – there are no speakers here. The casing meets IP54 standards and is dust and splash-proof; the battery lasts for 48 hours in normal operation and up to 96 hours in standby mode. You can purchase the charging case for an additional $69.

The personal control panel in the RayNeo iO glasses interface is opened by looking up – here you can see schedules, alerts and even weather data. These points focus on the context of the meeting and suggest specific events you can add to your calendar. Supports real-time translation in 40 languages. RayNeo has a built-in AI assistant that builds long-term situational memory for users’ habits and provides daily summary and assistance; you can connect to the Google Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite AI model for free. More demanding users can subscribe for $9.99 per month, which includes access to OpenAI ChatGPT 5.1, Google Gemini 2.5 Pro, Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4.5/Opus 4.1, and DeepSeek V3 for voice assistants and text summarization. RayNeo iO retails for $479, and the smart glasses will be available on September 4.
