Closed beta testing of team-based multiplayer shooter WARDOGS has begun on Steam. It’s available to those who pre-order, as well as to the lucky few who apply game page.
Developers noted that bookings exceeded their expectations. Therefore, they will not be distributing access en masse to unsubscribed players until the end of the test, which will end on the morning of August 24, 2026.
The current main goal of CBT will be to test and analyze the scalability and stability of the game server and the entire project architecture before the launch of early access, which is planned to be launched on September 10, 2026.
WARDOGS is a tactical team-based first-person shooter in which 100 players are divided into three teams and compete for control of territory. The action takes place in abandoned industrial areas of Eastern Europe, and the fighting uses modern firearms and a variety of military equipment. The main mode is inspired by the popular King of the Hill custom mod from Arma 3.
