Hell Let Loose: Vietnam: Patch 1.2 released, further roadmap released

Even after launch, the shooter will continue to receive new content. Now the roadmap provides information about what awaits you.

Shortly after the official release of new shooter Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, team17 and Expression Games gave an outlook on what’s planned in the near future. In this regard, a concrete roadmap has now been published as well as plans for future updates.

The first major content update is scheduled to be released “in the coming weeks” and will include a fully licensed Huey helicopter and two new weapons: the M14 and the Chinese Type 56 SKS.

Further major content updates will come later in 2026, including new weapons, vehicles, battlefields, and more. For example, update 2.0 brings the new map “Khe Sanh” as well as three more guns. Update 3.0 includes the “Rung Sat” map, new vehicles, and four new weapons.

In addition to new content, we are constantly working on improvements and bug fixes to the previous game. The version 1.2 update is now live, fixing over 500 bugs and making improvements to many aspects of the game, including stability, maps, UI/HUD, weapons, and gameplay.

Officially, the most important changes (original in English) are as follows:

  • Fixed an issue that caused the server to crash when using Tunnel in certain scenarios.

  • A number of UI issues that caused HUD elements to get stuck on screen (including health markers and capture points in Offense) have been fixed.

  • Commander abilities are now correctly placed based on squad leader markers.

  • Knife hit logging has been improved, with further improvements planned to address remaining edge cases.

  • Non-headshot kills now correctly count towards the longest kills statistic.

  • Image stabilization on console has been improved, with special focus on shadow areas, and further optimizations are in progress.

  • Various keybinding issues have been resolved, and further fixes are planned.
