Microsoft has received a subpoena from Take-Two Interactive as part of an investigation into leaks of materials related to Grand Theft Auto VI. Let us remind you that some gameplay videos have surfaced online this week, as well as other moments related to the most anticipated game of the year. In this case, Take-Two shares are down about 2% over the past week, even though the company has been up about 6% since the beginning of the year.

Copyrighted material includes, but is not limited to, audiovisual content, artwork, images, dialogue or other creative elements. Take-Two, through its authorized counsel, submitted an affidavit confirming that the purpose of the DMCA subpoena is to identify the alleged infringer and that such information will be used solely to protect Take-Two’s rights.
Request all Microsoft internal business documents and investigative information related to Microsoft’s internal investigation of the username “cyberleek” that is sufficient to identify the user, person, and/or entity associated with the username.
The reasons for Microsoft’s involvement in the investigation have not been announced. A subpoena may indicate that the company has its own audit. Let us remind you that there were earlier rumors that one of the leaked components of GTA 6 could be on the Xbox Development Kit, but this version has not yet been confirmed.
