Polish studio Fumi Games, the developer of jazzy retro shooter Mouse: PI For Hire, has so far only confirmed story additions to the game, but appears to have plans for a full sequel.

Let’s remember that Mouse: PI For Hire starts on April 16th and shows “Very successful” Distribution – 360,000 copies in four days. In May, publisher PlaySide Studios reported that the game was fully profitable, having sold over 1 million copies by mid-July.

According to the information in the document (see image below), the story supplement for Mouse: PI For Hire will be released in 2027, rather than the fourth quarter of 2026, while Mouse: PI For Hire 2 (the expected title) will not be released until 2028.
The story of “Mouse: PI For Hire” takes place in the city of Mouseberg, and the player plays the role of private detective Jack Pepper, played by Troy Baker.
