In February of this year, Konami and Annapurna Interactive announced that Silent Hill: Town Fall would be a Playstation 5 exclusive. The game will be released on September 24, 2026, and the exclusivity period for Sony’s console is now known.
The official Playstation channel released a 19-minute gameplay video of Silent Hill: Town Falls. Finally, a Sony splash screen appeared, confirming that the game would not appear on other consoles for 6 months. This means it will definitely not be available on Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch until March 24, 2027. At the same time, it was released on PC simultaneously with Playstation 5.

Let’s remember that the Silent Hill 2 remake is also a Playstation 5 console exclusive. But its contract period is 12 months, which was also reported in the game trailer. As a result, on Xbox Series X | Project S was released almost exactly a year after its release on Playstation 5. However, that’s no guarantee that Silent Hill: Townfall will be released on Xbox consoles six months later – sometimes exclusivity deals are extended, and sometimes the publisher itself delays release on other platforms.
“Silent Hill: Town Has Fallen” is a new game in the series, taking place on a Scottish island in 1996. The standard version of the game itself is priced at $49.99. This will be the first-person game in the series.
