GIGABYTE releases new R165 series servers on hardware platform AMD EPYC Venice 9006. The R165-ZG1-CS1, R165-DG3-CS1 and R165-DG2-CS2 models debut in a 1U form factor and are suitable for tasks such as visual computing, cloud platforms, and AI inference.
device R165-ZG1-CS1 Allows installation of 1 SP8 version of EPYC 9006 processor and 16 DDR5 RDIMM/MRDIMM RAM modules. The front has 12 bays for SFF NVMe/SATA/SAS-4 drives, with hot-swappable capabilities. There is a PCIe 6.0 x16 connector for dual-slot GPU-based accelerators, as well as FHFL and FHHL standard add-on expansion cards.
Options R165-DG3-CS1 Designed specifically for an SP7 version of the EPYC 9006 chip. The server has 16 DDR5 RDIMM/MRDIMM slots, 16 bays for E3.S drives with PCIe 6.0 (NVMe) interface, 1 PCIe 6.0 x16 slot for FHFL GPU accelerator and FHHL card.
