The developers of the MMORPG BitCraft Online are preparing to shut down four areas of the Uncharted Archipelago during maintenance on September 3. Once the update starts, it will no longer be possible to get there, and some legacy properties will be permanently removed.
Areas 3, 11, 15 and 23 will become inaccessible. Players located there will automatically move to the nearest primary area and the fast travel point will be updated. There is no way to return through boundaries, teleporters, or waypoints. Items that have been removed from these areas will remain in the game, including doubloons, trinkets, and consumables. Indeed, some things specifically related to Uncharted Island activities may become useless after closure.
For those who leave their property where they are, the consequences are much more severe. The contents of banks, lost item chests, and some deployable items will become inaccessible. Houses located in cordoned off areas will be completely dismantled, along with the furniture and belongings stored inside. The same happens with territories and everything on them: buildings, resources, goods, and items. The Imperial Watchtower will also disappear.
The developers recommend transporting all valuable items to the main areas in advance, moving the empire’s houses and capital, and dismantling objects in the settlement that you want to return resources to. Otherwise, after September 3, part of the accumulated wealth will be considered a loss – no rescue expedition can be organized.
Have you already moved your belongings from these areas, or are you facing a mass exodus?
