There is less than a day left until the opening of Gamescom – the opening show will start on August 25 at 20:30 Moscow time. And over the past few days, the Internet has been actively discussing rumors that Xbox may announce a new game at the event. They came from an authoritative insider who goes by the nickname NateTheHate and was later endorsed by Jez Corden. Both said they were waiting for announcements from Xbox about high-profile series being developed by third-party studios.
Later, insider NateTheHate also reported that in conversations about the announcement, they meant a continuation of Ori. Now, the same informant appears on his social network famousXbox is unlikely to make an announcement at Gamescom:

NateTheHate, meanwhile, clarified that he’s heard there are plans to release a new Ori in 2026, and he’s inclined to believe the Xbox team will make it part of the November 25th anniversary livestream. As a result, NateTheHate now doesn’t expect Microsoft to make any announcements at Gamescom.
