Nexon Games has officially announced the title of the new game from producer Kim Young Ha, which was previously working under the working title Project RX. From now on, the project will be called Fareidolia, it becomes well known Official account from social network X. Previously, the developers said at Anime Expo that it would not consist of two words, but one.
Along with the announcement, the studio also revealed new artwork featuring three Fareidolia characters: Minie, Shami, and Ohana. You can see the updated game logo above.
Fareidolia was created by Nexon Games under the leadership of Blue Archive founder Kim Yong Ha. The game was developed on Unreal Engine 5 and is dedicated to the interaction between players and characters from another world. The developers relied on vivid environments, the daily activities of the characters, and a plot designed to immerse you deeper into what’s going on. The project is planned to be released on PC, consoles, and mobile devices, but specific platforms and release dates have not yet been revealed.
We’ll get our first look at Fareidolia at Tokyo Game Show 2026 after the game was officially announced. The show will be held on September 17 at the Makuhari Messe Center, where the developers will showcase the game to the public.
The team continues to expand its staff. Nexon Games is recruiting for a Senior Game Design Specialist and Content Design Specialist and plans to continue recruiting as development progresses.
