There were rumors the other day that Xbox might show off a new part of Ori at Gamescom or later this year. This is a franchise originally created by Moon Studios, but its rights are owned by Xbox. The series is divided into two parts – Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, both developed by Moon Studios. But according to rumors, another team is working on new parts that don’t belong to the Xbox.
Thomas Mahler, head of Moon Studios, has stated on several occasions that he would like to return to create a new part of the series, commenting on rumors about the development of the series on his social networks. According to him, Xbox wouldn’t have made the great Ori without Moon Studios.

However, I recently invited Gareth [Кокера — композитора двух частей Ori] Since he was in Vienna recording the score for No Rest for the Wicked, we had dinner together (you guys are going to love it!) and he even asked me if I was ready to shoot another part. “It’s time,” he said! 😂👍
Thomas Mahler has stated many times before that he wants to start developing a new game in the “Ori” series. He also expressed his thoughts on the game.
