CD Projekt RED’s role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been an unqualified success so far. Whether the fourth installment in development will be able to repeat it, let alone surpass it, is a question as broad as it gets. The studio understands this as well as we do, so they will continue to capitalize on this successful project as much as possible.
So, about an hour ago, CD Projekt RED officially announced the remaster of the third installment of the Geralt of Rivia adventure as part of Gamescom’s opening night live event.
Players will enjoy improved graphics, including completely updated foliage and lighting, more advanced animations, an improved combat system, and revised skill trees. It also means that the opponent’s artificial intelligence will become smarter.
The release date will be one month later, on January 29th. All owners of the original The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt will receive the remastered version for free. This in itself is a rare pleasure in the modern game industry.
