At gamescom 2026, the developers of 4A Games brought a new game trailer for “Metro 2039”. Our protagonist wanders on the surface and encounters representatives of hostile factions and “blacks”.
According to the developer, the atmosphere of Metro 2039 will be darker, and the game world will reward players for careful exploration.
Tomorrow, the first official previews with journalists’ comments are expected to be released. As for release, it’s planned for “this winter.” That is, from December 2026 to February 2027.
