Pagnia’s pioneering construction simulation will be adding new content in the form of expansions in the coming weeks. Echoes of Alderama now has a release date.
As announced today in a press release ahead of Gamescom, Pioneers of Pagnia will receive new DLC in just a few weeks. The next expansion is called “Echoes of Alderamar” and will be released on September 23, 2026.
On PC, you’ll receive a new story campaign that will see you travel to the borders of Pagnia’s South Sea to explore the legendary Alderama Archipelago. Among vast ruins, harsh desert landscapes, and the remnants of long-forgotten civilizations, you’ll face gigantic stone warriors and bring new life to a land that was split into islands during the Cataclysm.
The story campaign includes four maps and introduces you to the history of Alderama. The island’s monumental buildings are also a focal point. A new, valuable raw material became available for reconstruction: marble, quarried in the main quarry and used to restore the monuments. At the same time, the new desert landscape brings you new challenges: dunes and quicksand characterize the landscape, water is scarce, fertile land is scarce, and some roads are initially impassable.
The most important features of this add-on are officially stated as follows:
-
New story campaign with four maps
-
All new game features can also be played in generated maps
-
Monumental building restored in multiple stages
-
Many new challenges:
-
Desert landscape, poor soil, quicksand and gaming challenges
-
Change the surface of the island: desert can be transformed back into fertile land, affecting gameplay
-
New enemy types: giant stone warriors with unique behaviors that must be dealt with with new strategies and tactics
-
New final boss
-
New Important Locations: The Obelisk’s role as a patrol point for stone warriors and an altar for combat reinforcements provides new strategic possibilities and affects the approach to fighting new and familiar enemies.
-
New raw material marble: quarried in the main quarry and used for the reconstruction of monuments.
-
New feature “Construction sites outside your own territory”: Expedition camps and new expedition workers can build or restore pre-placed target objects – including massive monuments, statues and obelisks – outside your own territory.
