Studio CD Project RED showed off The Witcher 3 Remastered at Gamescom 2026, showing off a trailer for the game’s Song of the Past DLC. The add-on should be released in 2027, but an exact release date has not yet been confirmed.
After showcasing the expansion on social networks, CD Project Red is officially launched point outthe DLC “Ballads of the Past” will not have a Russian localized voice-over format. It will remain in the original game and both DLCs, but upon completing “Ballads of the Past” players will switch to the original language – Polish.
Due to our decision to cease cooperation with tax residents of Russia and Belarus starting in March 2022, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Song of the Past add-on content will not have Russian dubbing. When you launch the add-on, the sound will automatically switch to Polish. As before, the text will be fully translated and the Russian voice acting will remain in the main game and its first two add-ons.
We remind you that the remastered version will be distributed free of charge to owners of the original The Witcher 3, who will also receive the first two DLCs. As for the “Song of the Past” additional content, it will be paid, but the cost has not yet been announced.
