At the Gamescom Opening Night Live exhibition opening ceremony, TiGames studio showed off a new trailer for the 2021 Metroidvania prequel “ZOOPUNK” Fist: Forged with Shadow Torch.
The game radically changes the usual format: players will find not a classic 2D platformer, but a dynamic 3D third-person action RPG with an emphasis on squads of warriors and cooperative gameplay.
The new trailer shows off various scenes, rescuing captive animals from cages, and spectacular battles against giant bosses – mechanized beavers and otter warriors, featuring Layton, Trixie and other familiar characters from the original game. zoopunk Announced for release on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox Cloud Services.
