Last year’s rumors were true – a turn-based strategy game in the spirit of XCOM based on Ubisoft’s tactical online shooter Rainbow Six Siege will indeed be released. The premiere took place during the Gamescom 2026 opening ceremony.

The project is called “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Tactics” and is positioned as the first single-player game in the series since 2008’s “Rainbow Six: Vegas 2.” Announcement trailer Attached below.
Players will play Paul Bishop, an agent in “Vegas 2”, leading the Rainbow Division to uncover global conspiracies and destroy the secret organizations behind armed organizations around the world.
Tom Clancy’s Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Tactics users will form a team of four to complete the dangerous missions of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege agents, including Ash, Montagne, Glaz, Doc, Nook, Smoke and Sledge.
They promise intense turn-based combat, synchronized attacks using the “Assault” function, fully destructible environments, the uniqueness of each warrior (skills, equipment, tactical abilities) and Russian text translation.
Rainbow Six Tactics is developed by Ubisoft Paris, the creators of Mario + Rabbids and the latest Ghost Recon. Ubisoft ensureThe project can be completed without the need for an in-game store and other monetization methods.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six will be released on PC in 2027 (steam, epic games store, Ubisoft Connect), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The game will take place between Seasons 10 and 11 of Rainbow Six Siege.
