In June of this year, Asha Sharma announced that Xbox would return to console exclusives. At the same time, it is known that the first project within the framework of the updated strategy will be Gears of War: E-Day. There have been multiple rumors that the game might be coming to the Playstation 5, but it will ultimately only be available on Xbox Series X | S and PC after launch.
As part of Gamescom, the Xbox team showed off a story trailer for Gears of War: E-Day. Players noticed that this was the first time the new console-exclusive name was used.
At the end of The Coalition’s trailer for this shooter, you can see the words “Xbox Console Exclusive.” The logo didn’t appear in the game’s June demo, nor in the trailer that was released later – the first time it’s been used by the Xbox team.
Let us remind you that Gears of War: E-Day is scheduled to release on October 6, 2026 for Xbox Series X | S, PC and directly to Game Pass. The game has a story campaign from the start, which can be completed cooperatively with up to 4 people, and there are 5 multiplayer modes.
