Publisher Focus Entertainment and studio Auroch Digital have announced the release date for Warhammer 40,000: Bolter 2. This shooter set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe will be fully released on October 14, 2026.
In the sequel, players will face all four factions of the Chaos Gods and engage in an epic battle with their archenemy and master of the Soul Forge – Akifan Vash’tor. The theme for this boss fight was composed by acclaimed composer Mick Gordon, author of the cult soundtracks to DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal. The main gameplay innovation will be character selection – in addition to the return of ultramarine Malum Tsedo, players will also have access to Nira Veyrat, who has a unique arsenal of weapons and combat abilities.
For those who want to dive into slaying heretics and xenos, the first part of the project is now available, as well as a small demo of part two. By the way, the first part will arrive on mobile devices soon.
