During the Xbox demo at Gamescom 2026, Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog showed off a massive 15-minute demo of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis.

The game is an in-depth reimagining of the first part of the 1996 Lara Croft adventure, powered by modern Unreal Engine 5 and scheduled for release on February 12, 2027.

In the footage shown, viewers can admire updated swimming mechanics, solve classic puzzles, and dynamic battles with dinosaurs. Once again, players will travel from the jungles of Peru to the ruins of Greece, Egypt, and a mysterious island in search of parts for powerful artifacts. The developers promise to preserve the spirit of the original while offering modern design and unexpected surprises for series veterans and newcomers alike.
