Plaud launches headphones that remember their owner’s conversations—and artificial intelligence will decode and record them on their own

Plaud, best known for making AI recorders, has launched the Plaud One Explorer Edition, a wearable headphone-shaped device designed to use AI to record, transcribe and summarize user conversations.

The Plaud One Explorer Edition comes with a charging case and has built-in 4G support to download and process call recordings without the need for a phone or Wi-Fi connection.

The headset is equipped with 32 MB of built-in memory (16 MB per module) and six microphones, supporting conversation recording at a distance of up to 2 m. The headphones feature noise cancellation and touch controls. The device has a battery life of up to 6 hours.

The charging case includes four microphones with a recording range of up to 5 m, built-in speakers and 512 MB of memory. The battery of this protective case can be charged through the USB-C port, and the total battery life is up to 36 hours.

Plaud Intelligence artificial intelligence platform helps analyze and structure information in conversations, meetings and lectures. According to the company, the platform is designed to “understand and fulfill human intentions.” Using a button on the shell, users can launch Plaud Agent, an AI agent that supports Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion and Slack, providing access to multiple platforms without requiring users to switch between them.

“Plaud One is always online, keeping every conversation and context up-to-date, so your notes are ready at the end of the meeting and answers are always available when needed.” – the company noted.

The Plaud One Explorer Edition is priced at $249.99 and will begin shipping at the end of September.
