Wolcen 2 is positioned as a dark fantasy action RPG with no predefined classes and four-player co-op. The announcement is accompanied by the meeting minutes below. Game trailer.

The story of Wolcen 2 begins several years after the events of Wolcen: Lord of Chaos. The game world created by supernatural forces is on the verge of destruction. The prophecy promised hope of salvation, but it required sacrifice.

Players who take on the role of a warlord, a random descendant of the Shadow God, must seek the support of loyal companions (including familiar faces from the first part) and surrender to the tide of fate or reject it as they fight for everything.

They promise fast-paced and brutal combat, extensive character development opportunities, powerful combos (skills, weapons), a redesigned network architecture, and the first of three acts at the start of Early Access.

Unlike Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, an outdated version of CryEngine, the sequel is built on Unreal Engine 5. The choice of engine will allow the studio to provide the game with long-term development, something the first installment didn’t have.

Wolcen 2 will launch on PC in 2027 (early access) steam), and it will be coming to consoles as the full version is released. In addition, the studio will also launch an evacuation role-playing game Gods, Death & Reapers (formerly Project Pantheon) in 2026.
