Publisher Kalypso Media and Realmforge Studios, known for the Dungeons series, have announced the action-adventure game Conjurer Rise. The game will be released on PC in 2027 (steamMicrosoft Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The story of “Rise of the Spellcaster” takes place in Kemea, which was once a bright and peaceful place, but after an unknown event, it was attacked by a mysterious plague called “Rot”. The protagonist, a witch and the sole survivor of an outbreak, will search for a way to stop the spread of the infection. She will be accompanied by her loyal pet cat.
To fight decay, the witch must bring back the forgotten magical art of baking spells. The heroine will find recipes, collect ingredients and create magical baked goods from them that can be used in battle.
Kemea himself has changed noticeably since the rot spread. The bright and colorful world turned into a dark, insect-infested land, inhabited by dangerous creatures like Skullfoot and Bigmouth. The origin of the plague remains unknown, and there is a mysterious force behind what is happening.
Unusual companions will help the witch complete her journey. These include Herman, the talking sourdough bread, Biscuit and a familiar cat. In the village, the heroine will be able to equip and decorate her home, gradually turning the settlement into a safe place to return to. Herman can also be fed to regain his memory, learn more about recipes, and discover his connection to the Witch’s House.
The game features a co-op mode for up to six witches. Players will be able to divide tasks among themselves and fight the rot together.
