Maibenben has launched the X-Treme Tornado X18A gaming laptop in Russia, the first model in the series with an 18-inch screen. This new product is designed for gamers who value high performance and a large screen in their devices, as well as being portable.

The 18-inch monitor has an aspect ratio of 16:10, supports a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. This monitor covers 100% of the sRGB color space and has a peak brightness of 300 cd/m².
The efficient operation of the device is guaranteed by a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX processor (32 threads) with a base frequency of 2.5 GHz and 5.4 GHz in turbo mode. The GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 8 GB GDDR7 memory supports games with high graphics settings at 1440p (WQHD) resolution.
The laptop is available in 16 or 32 GB DDR5 RAM configurations running at 5200 MHz and supports expansion up to 32 GB (16 GB × 2 or 32 GB × 1). The SSD capacity is 1TB, and the storage can be expanded to 4TB. At the same time, users can expand the amount of RAM and storage capacity independently without affecting the manufacturer’s warranty.
A cooling system consisting of three fans and two wide heat pipes ensures optimal temperature conditions and has a maximum power of 200W. Using phase change thermal paste instead of traditional thermal paste can dissipate heat more efficiently and maintain its performance longer. This thermal paste is ideal for gaming laptops that are often subjected to high loads and overheating. Enlarged vents improve air circulation.
The X-Treme Tornado X18A comes with a full-size keyboard with numeric keypad and single-zone RGB backlighting. The motion control keys and navigation keys are highlighted with transparent blue keycaps. Key travel is 1.8mm. Below the keyboard is a large glass trackpad.
The battery with a capacity of 5200 mAh/80 Wh ensures the autonomy of the device. The kit comes with a compact 250 W power supply. Charging is also provided via a Type-C connector with power up to 100 W.
The communication features of this laptop include 3 USB 3.2 Type-A ports, 2 USB 3.2 Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1, Mini DP 2.1, RJ-45 and 3.5mm headphone audio jack.
The laptop is built with a black plastic casing and an aluminum lid. The case measures 400×291.5 mm, and the thickness increases from 21.6 mm on the front to 24.5 mm on the back. Weight – 2.8 kg.
