The massive success of action role-playing game Hogwarts Legacy has official confirmation from an unexpected source: According to the latest data from the LinkedIn profile of Chandler Wood, the project’s former marketing manager and community director, the game generated more than $2 billion in revenue during his tenure.
Those numbers complement Warner Bros.’s strengths. The December report was perfect. Games confirmed that it has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide.
Against the backdrop of such a huge success, the fate of the series has been decided: the publisher is intensively developing a sequel, and fans have higher expectations for it, especially after rumors that it may be connected to the upcoming HBO series.
