Wakanim merged with Crunchyroll, which left Russia, leaving domestic viewers without legal anime. DEEP has been filling this gap for years: The company has licensed, translated and provided content to streaming services like Kinopoisk, but will launch its own platform on September 4.

Connoisseurs from Asia will have access to a catalog of anime, Donghua, movies and TV series, with episodes, schedules, synopses, collections and achievement systems (the latter still in development) released alongside premieres in their home countries. You can see it all on the official website and Android app (iOS and SmartTV support is planned).

But you have to pay:

  • 1 month – ₽149;
  • 3 months – ₽420;
  • 6 months – ₽799;
  • 12 months – ₽1550;
  • Lifetime rights – ₽15,000.

DEEP has acquired the copyrights to works such as “Attack on Titan”, “About My Rebirth as a Slime”, “I was Reborn as the Seventh Prince, So I Want to Improve My Magic at My Desire”, “Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World”, “Made in Abyss”, “Ghost in the Shell” and “Jobless Reincarnation: Reincarnation of the Unemployed”. True, there is some censorship.

At the same time, the company announced a new license: “The Pharmacist’s Monologues” has released two seasons, and the third season will be broadcast simultaneously in Japan in October, dubbed by DEEP and voiced by AniStar and AniLibria. No word yet on the full length.
