Every year, the Gamescom Awards 2026 are held at Gamescom Germany. Game industry experts (mainly journalists) select the best games and have booths at the event. There are also prizes where players decide the winner.
This year, the Xbox Project is divided into 3 categories: “Best Graphics,” “Best Sound,” and “Best Xbox Game.” As a result, Microsoft’s gaming division only received one award, which went to the already-released Forza Horizon 6.

It is worth reminding that Microsoft held 2 live broadcasts at Gamescom 2026 and showcased many new products for Game Pass.
