The organizers of Gamescom Awards 2026 have summarized the results of the show and announced the full list of winners based on the opinions of the expert jury and the gaming industry. The main winner of the event was samurai action game Onimusha: Kendo, which won two prestigious awards simultaneously – “Best Game” and “Best PlayStation Game”.
Other major winners include the long-awaited Alien: Isolation 2 (“Best Sound”), the massive Total War: Warhammer 40,000 (“Best PC Game”), Forza Horizon 6 (“Best Xbox Games”) and Comfort Looking for Polka (“The cutest or most comfortable game”).
In addition, the announced remake of “The Witcher 3” and “Ballad of the Past” were also recognized as the best trailers at the show. Where Winds Meet was named the best mobile game and recently celebrated 100 million global users.
