The developers of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marines 2 have revealed the content of the upcoming 15th Edition patch. Players can look forward to a new Chaos map, a mode with individual challenges, additional weapons, and a massively reworked tactics category.
In Chaos Siege mode, you play as a Chaos Space Marine on the new siege map of Avarax. The party must fend off waves of Tyranids and Loyalists, and enlist the support of cultists and ritualists. Additionally, Hellbrut will be allowed to be summoned onto the battlefield, throwing the battle into complete chaos.
The arsenal will be complemented by a one-handed thunder hammer, a fast weapon that can switch between single-target and area-of-effect attacks. It will be received by Tactician, Commando, Bulwark and Techmarine. The tactician himself will receive significant modifications to the skill tree: he will be able to abandon his primary weapon in favor of a power sword, an ax or a new hammer, while for fans of ranged combat, the secondary weapon can be replaced by a primary bolt rifle.

Another new feature is the endgame Crucible mode. Prior to the operation, players will be able to select individual debuffs and receive more pure experience points upon successful completion. To access you need level 25. Additionally, the developers will eventually add a repaint of the cape. The second anniversary update will be released in early October along with the Season 3 Pass, and in Year 3, Starfighter 2 will receive the long-awaited two-handed sword.
