Rockstar North development manager and co-owner Rob Nelson is confident of a timely release for GTA 6 this fall, despite past release date delays and intense pressure from players.
In a recent interview with Japanese publication Famitsu, the developer commented on Netflix’s recent expanded gameplay. According to Nielsen, the author hopes to completely relieve the audience’s concerns about the quality of the gameplay. The reporter’s only concern is the risk of another postponement, as the competition has already undergone two schedule changes – from 2025 to 2026, and then from May to November 19.
However, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has repeatedly stated that the plan remains unchanged, and now the chief game director has joined him and promised to release strictly as planned. The team is proud of the work performed and is ready to present Vice City’s long-awaited return on the designated day.
