Eight-player co-op Needle in a Haystack Simulator is coming to Steam – Trailer and details for Needle in a Haystack Simulator

The old saying about finding a needle in a haystack is about to be adapted into a video game. A project page called Needle In A Haystack Simulator has appeared on the digital distribution service Steam.

As the title suggests, Haystack Simulator challenges you to find a needle in a haystack of 5 million straws. So find a needle “As easy as it sounds”.

While digging, users will be able to extract valuable items, and money from sales can buy tools (allowing them to hunt, move, and process more hay) to make the impossible task easier.

The project is the brainchild of British developer Nas Nakarus, principal of London-based Studio Bitdot. “Needle in a Haystack Simulator” preliminary trailer on social networks set Over 53 million views.

Needle in a Haystack Simulator is expected to be exclusive to PC in Q4 2026 (steam). Judging from the description on Valve’s service, the game will only support English.
