Iron Man’s solo project, which some had thought was dead, is unexpectedly showing signs of life. The leaked footage carries the watermark “AUG26 TEST” and shows early unreleased footage of an internal test build. Despite unfinished textures and placeholder animations, the clip gives fans their first taste of dynamic movement and combat sequences.
Tony Stark can seamlessly switch between fast flight and ground combat, using recoil weapons and missiles to throw opponents into the air with force. Menus for adjusting the armor visually and functionally are also present in the textures, as well as iconic locations such as the SHIELD helicopter carrier.
The film also provides a first look at the story: excerpts identified well-known characters such as Pepper Potts and War Machine (Rody), as well as antagonists such as Obadiah Stane and Madame Mask.
Rather than respond to takedown requests and copyright claims, EA decided to publicly acknowledge the leak. The radio silence surrounding the third-person action-adventure game has been largely silent since it was first announced in October 2022, which has fueled community fears that the project may be terminated. Now, the studio promises that they will show fans more content once the developers are ready. There is no specific release date yet.
