Studio Funky Parrot from Russia has announced the full release date for the action roguelike Pirate’s Curse, which is currently in Early Access. Full version at steam It will be released next week, September 7 at 16:00 Moscow time.
At the same time, the developers will release a major update 1.0. It will add a new team member, Zephyr the interdimensional parrot. He masters the power of wind and can summon powerful tornadoes to help deal with opponents in naval battles. Players will have access to five ships, each with their own characteristics and abilities. As you progress and defeat bosses, new transportation options will appear.
Version 1.0 will add five new enemy types, as well as three final bosses. Additionally, meta progress will be returned upon community request. After each swim, players can strengthen their ship to be more powerful for future adventures.
Pirate’s Curse is a pirate action roguelike that combines the endless enemy survival mechanics of Vampire Survivor with the deep story-based interactions in the spirit of Hades. Players take on the role of an ambitious small boat captain seeking the title of Pirate King through battles with sea monsters, ghosts, and rival factions. The clearance process is divided into multiple chapters, and at the end you will fight a large boss.
A feature of the program is assembling a team of unique characters, such as Ghost Captain or Abyssal Cultist, each integrating their own abilities into the overall combat strategy. Game mechanics let you create hundreds of skill combinations, adapting your fighting style to changing conditions.
