The PlayStation owners’ protest, which began as a way to express dissatisfaction with the company’s policies and the impending abandonment of physical media by 2028, has officially ended, but the leader of the movement called on participants to continue the boycott.
The week-long promotion was originally scheduled to end on the evening of August 30, but organizers changed the wording and advised players to keep their consoles disconnected from the Internet until company management reconsidered its attitude towards customers.
