Bandai Namco announced the first reliable information about the multiplayer game of “Ace Combat 8” and showed the corresponding game scenes in the trailer.

Bandai Namco today released a new trailer for Ace Combat 8: Wings of Tef, focusing for the first time on the online multiplayer part of the new series. Progress and reward systems are also highlighted as you compete in the online lobby with up to 100 players from around the world.

In addition to the campaign mode, online multiplayer is an important part of the new section, which is why cross-platform play functionality will also be added. You start online mode with an individually customizable avatar, which can be personalized by unlocking rewards and various items as you progress through the game. Once equipped, you can head to the interactive air base (also known as the online lobby), where you can meet other players and talk to them.

From there, the two core multiplayer modes will be accessible. cooperative assault Focused on PvE combat, two teams of four players compete against each other and try to score as many points as possible in missions with different opponents and objectives.

Mode #2 is cooperative combat. Behind this is a PvPvE mode, where two teams of four compete against each other, but this time they don’t just have to deal with NPC units. You can also fly with each other, and the gameplay is based on mechanics such as “threat level” and “ace cards.” Here, the team with the highest total score at the end of the game also wins.

As the game progresses, additional emergency missions will be unlocked and available for a limited time. Emergency Flight Missions feature a squad of four dogfighting with a squadron of dangerous NPC air forces. Emergency sorties pit eight pilots against the iconic giant weapons from the series’ history. Some missions allow you to relive boss fights from previous installments.

Online multiplayer also includes limited-time PvP events, including 4v4 team battles and 8-player deathmatch.
