ASKA gets major updates including lobby, banquet and expanded scenes

The developers at ASKA have released a major update, Halls and Feasts, adding to the game what every Viking dreams of – feasts that will go down in legend. Well, these feasts need to be held on a large scale, so new buildings will appear in the game specifically for this purpose.

This patch adds a significantly expanded custom game mode, allowing you to independently customize season length, enemy invasion frequency, clan starting level, and gear. At the same time, the developers redesigned the construction of walls: now they can be placed faster, similar to the road-building tool, and special options allow you to lay defenses along slopes.

Agriculture also gained new production chains. Players will be able to collect wild wheat from swampy islands, grow it on improved farms, grind grain in windmills, and send flour for baking bread. For this reason, a new worker appeared – the miller. Additionally, the system for assigning residents and resources has been completely redesigned to more accurately assign specific settlers to certain jobs and buildings.

Lobbies became the main end-game structure of the update and received their own feast mechanic. During the festival, you need to accumulate large amounts of high-quality food, but after the feast is over, the entire settlement will receive long-term bonuses to productivity, combat potential, and morale. Overall, the Vikings now not only have a reason to survive, but a reason to properly celebrate.
