The story of “Stranded 2” will unfold in a beautiful but dangerous desert, which is run through by an endless river. Even though it’s a sequel, the new game won’t be a direct continuation of the original Stranded.
To survive the dangerous waters and intense heat, users must gather resources, craft tools, build floating homes, and monitor health, hunger and thirst levels, and environmental impacts.
Stranded 2 is positioned as a cutting-edge survival simulator and the next step in the evolution of the genre. debut Game trailer (attached above) shows the first frame of the game.
The technical director and creative director of “Stranded 2” is Sam Edwards, co-founder of “Stranded” and co-founder of Beam Team Games. The original game reached an audience of over 20 million people.
They promise a world full of life, danger and discovery, the uniqueness of each passage, believable behavior of animals, a “cartographer” map editor and support for six languages (Russian is not among them).
Deepwater 2’s early access version will launch exclusively on PC in early 2027 (steam). The developers plan to regularly update, improve and expand the game. The full version is expected to be released no earlier than 2029.
