Saber Interactive creative director Tim Wilits has officially denied rumors that the studio may be involved in conditional development of the third installment in Moon Studios’ acclaimed Ori platformer series.

On the eve of Gamescom, rumors are circulating online that Saber Interactive is teaming up with Xbox Game Studios to develop a sequel to the popular game series. However, in an interview with Gamertag Radio podcast host Danny Peña, Tim Wilits outright stated that the company is not involved in the project and turned the conversation to the studio’s other upcoming releases.

The Moon Studios team is currently focused on developing the action RPG No Rest for the Wicked, while the status of the Ori series is unclear.
