Valve has released a new report on PC configurations for Steam digital service users in August 2026, summarizing last summer’s hardware results.
Among operating systems, Windows 11 still maintains a confident leading position, occupying 70.97% of the market. The aging Windows 10 continues to lose its audience and has dropped to 22.90%.
In the field of graphics cards, the desktop version RTX 3060 returned to first place with an indicator of 3.76%, leading the mobile version RTX 4060 and the current RTX 5070 card. The most common are components with 16 GB of RAM and a classic monitor resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
The share of Nvidia graphics cards is 72.88%, and the share of “red” graphics cards is 18.68%. But the performance of AMD CPUs is improving every month – they are already favored by 46.47% of gamers.
