Bandai Namco has released a new trailer titled “Online 101”, sharing detailed information about the online portion of the arcade flight simulator “Ace Combat 8: Theves of Theve”.
The multiplayer mode will offer an independent progression system, independent saves, and full cross-play between platforms. The central hub for players will be an interactive air base that can host up to 100 users from around the world. In its territory, you can communicate, customize your avatar, visit a virtual arcade of classic Bandai Namco games, listen to soundtracks in the jukebox, or buy equipment and cosmetics with currency earned from missions.
The key model is cooperation cooperative assault (PvE) and Mixed cooperative operations (PvPvE), as well as limited-time events such as boss battles and deathmatches. The project, developed by Bandai Namco Aces, will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on October 2, 2026, while Deluxe Edition buyers will get early access to the game on September 28.
