Huawei display New Huawei Watch GT 7 series, including GT 7 and GT 7 Pro models. The new generation of smartwatches updates the design of the company’s smartwatches and introduces a variety of features specifically targeted at outdoor sports, particularly skiing, snowboarding and cycling.
The collection is available in two sizes, 46 mm and 41 mm, in eight color combinations. The 46mm Watch GT 7 Pro uses a nanotechnology ceramic bezel that is scratch-resistant and paired with a titanium alloy middle frame. The fluororubber strap uses the so-called Huawei EasyCross system.
Many new sports features
Major innovations include Dedicated mode for indoor winter sportsyou can record activities even if GPS is not available. The smartwatch uses built-in sensors to automatically identify skis and snowboards and record parameters such as training duration, distance, speed and downhill elevation gain. For outdoor activities, you can download maps of more than 3,000 ski resorts around the world through Huawei Health. The map also shows the difficulty of the slopes and allows you to review itineraries and information for each slope.

Huawei has also launched turn detection, Identify turns during descent and calculate its radius. In addition to this, there is G-force detection, which allows you to see the centrifugal force exerted when turning. Finally, the Groups feature lets you share your real-time location and some performance data with other members of the group.
Mode dedicated to riding Climb planning, climb broadcasts and sharp turn warnings are introduced. Before training, the smartwatch can generate an overview of the climb along the route, while during the ride it will display information such as incline and distance remaining. The device can also provide tactile and audio warnings when making sharp turns at high speeds. At the end of your workout, AI workout analytics analyzes the collected data to provide insights into your performance and recovery.
The GT 7 series has also been updated with health functions. Health Insights now includes morning briefingphysical preparation score, and analysis of the user’s overall status. One of the new features is a fitness index, which combines information related to sleep quality, heart rate variability (HRV), mood state and activity calories. The system divides daily recovery into five levels, providing a summary of your body’s state upon waking.
To increase autonomy, Huawei uses high-density batteries using high-silicon stacking technology.
