Deadline by Daylight has released another update, which significantly tweaks several characters’ abilities, changes how some perks work, and closes an impressive list of technical bugs. The main focus is on The Trial and The Knight.

For Judgment, the window for adjusting the trajectory of Divine Light while in Zeal has been increased from 0.3 seconds to 0.6 seconds. The developers believe the previous value was too short and intend to monitor the balance of capabilities. The Knight now forces the Hunting Guard to walk around a dropped pallet unless it extends its path beyond 48 meters. If the pallet falls directly on the guard, on the contrary, he will continue through the obstacle.

These changes also affect survivors. Pinned alliances will now activate after 40/35/30 seconds (instead of 55/50/45) of self-healing generators, blocking it for 15 seconds. The effect of Vigil is weakened: the physical recovery acceleration is reduced from the previous 30/35/40% to 20/25/30%. At the same time, the developers fixed many issues with sounds, animations, character abilities, maps, perks, and interface. In particular, bugs with nurse teleportation, trial interaction, and visual effects for several killers and survivors were fixed.

If you think the new killer is too powerful, please write it in the comments.
