Razer has announced the Razer Prio, an ultra-compact mobile controller that’s a departure from the brand’s usual full-size gaming controllers. The device has been designed for maximum portability: when folded, it is no larger than a credit card and fits easily into your pocket.
An innovative folding mechanism hides the connecting cable within the elastic band, which opens into a fully functional controller with symmetrical mini-sticks, D-pad, action buttons and fully functional analog triggers. Razer uses a non-contact capacitive stick sensor that is completely wear and drift resistant. Meanwhile, the device is priced at $99/£99, which raises questions among reviewers against the backdrop of more powerful rivals and the cost of older models in the Kishi range.
