Demiruge Studios and Tripwire have announced action RPG Maneater 2, the sequel to a game about a shark that eats everything and everyone and then evolves. The game is expected to be released on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, XBOX series, and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
Additionally, the developers also announced Russian dubbing. The essence of the gameplay has not changed, but the plot is as follows: Before the opening of the luxury theme park Neptune Kingdom, a small number of people are invited to a private event. Granted, the organizers didn’t foresee an extremely voracious fish appearing in their waters.
Sharks will devour the local fauna, as the game’s open world is filled with sea creatures: the menu includes puffer fish, giant crabs, piranhas, seabass and other species. There will be vacationers staying for dessert. After being fed and becoming the ideal predator at the top of the food chain – thanks to local bioengineers – the toothy protagonist will be able to escape the “Kingdom of Neptune” and reach the free sea.
