The buzz surrounding what may be the most anticipated game of the decade is rolling in relentlessly. Following the recent State of Play, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Rockstar Games have taken the wraps off the official GTA skin and software for the first time. The series includes two very limited versions of the DualSense Wireless Controller, which visually reflect the sun-drenched metropolis of Sin City. The two versions – the elegant “Black Edition” and the bright “White Edition” – stylishly combine the aesthetics of neon and palm tree graphics with the gangster epic’s iconic branding. Pre-sales will begin in a few days, while official sales are scheduled to begin on November 19, 2026.

The two input devices implement the visual theme of the fictional East Coast of the United States in different ways. The “Black Edition” features a deep black base, with purple and pink neon shadow slits standing out against the palm trees and city backdrop. The trackpad also features a unique pink VI logo. The “White Edition,” on the other hand, opts for a lighter, creamy design that’s reminiscent of a sunset-tanned beach, and is finished with subtle, muted dark patterns.

Technically speaking, the controller offers all the usual features of the standard DualSense – from dynamic haptic feedback to adaptive triggers, which are dedicated to the operation of various weapons and vehicles in GTA VI.

There are also differences in distribution pipeline between the two color variants. While the “White Limited Edition” will be available worldwide through official direct sales on direct.playstation.com and selected specialty retailers, the “Black Limited Edition” will remain exclusively reserved for Sony’s own sales on direct.playstation.com.

Bookings for both models will begin on September 10, 2026. Manufacturer’s suggested retail price is €84.99 per serving. As experience shows that limited special editions are extremely popular within the PlayStation ecosystem, allotments are likely to sell out quickly. For fans of the series, the input device provides perfect visual coordination for traveling through Leonidas.
