It was presented at today’s State of Play Cannibal 2 with a new trailerthe sequel to Tripwire Interactive’s quirky action game Play as a hungry shark He finds himself having to fight for survival.
So the team at Demiurge Studios and publisher Tripwire used Sony’s event to reveal what’s apparently becoming a new chapter in the series: Maneater 2 exit period Still vague, but still defined, with release scheduled for 2027, pending further clarification on this front.
As seen in the first trailer shown below, the game appears to follow the concepts and mechanics of the first chapter, but may evolve a bit in terms of gameplay.
Theme park headed for disaster
“Maneater 2” is set at the press conference of “Cannibal” Neptune Kingdom, an ocean theme park Super luxurious on a private island, this is obviously very bad.
The cause of this disaster is the game’s protagonist: the shark, who has apparently decided not to obey the wishes of the park’s wealthy organizers and finds himself causing panic.

Described by CEO Victor Reardon as “the only gateway to the grandeur of ancient Rome,” the park blends the luxury of Las Vegas with the opulence of Anaheim and is designed to be a massive entertainment enterprise.
However, the organizers did not take into account the shark protagonist of the story, who seems hell-bent on ruining the party and thus begins his special celebration consisting of destruction and death.
Chapter One was a huge success, selling 14 million copies.
