Konami and Evil Empire have released a new trailer for the upcoming metroidvania Castlevania: Curse of the Belmont. The new trailer showcases the game’s gameplay and story features, as well as a take on the iconic Tears of Blood song that fans have loved since Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest.
23 years after Castlevania: Dracula’s Curse was released in Paris in 1499, Castlevania: Curse of Belmont is a new game celebrating the series’ 40th anniversary. At the center of the events is Trevor Belmont’s successor, Rose Belmont, who attempts to save the French capital from the clutches of evil. The game is pitched as a new 2D game that continues the legacy of the series and introduces newer mechanics.
Castlevania: The Curse of Belmont will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on October 15, 2026.
