The central idea of the trailer is to allow people to experience the story not as an outside observer, but from a more immersive perspective. To achieve this, filming took place at the Nu Boyana Film Studio in Sofia, Bulgaria. Production needs to use Physical sets, custom props and period costumesand then with the support of computer graphics post-production work, thousands of years of history are condensed into just a few seconds.
To bring the project to life, Amplitude Studios has renewed its partnership with BETC, the creative agency that worked on previous trailers for the series. The agency manages different physical scenarios, Taking care of lighting, acting and scene details for each era. In addition, BETC leveraged its partnership with LiveFX, a studio specializing in visual effects, to recreate the most complex elements into live footage, such as tornadoes, nuclear explosions and space scenes.

BETC creative director Benjamin Le Breton explains the idea behind the film: “Our goal was to condense the vastness of human history into 73 seconds, without losing its emotional weight. Rather than telling a story about civilization, we want the audience to experience civilization firsthand, rather than telling a story about civilization through the eyes of a newborn baby, allowing us to have several different eras and have several generations of each other.
