XLGAMES has shared plot details for the Chronicles of the Ancient Age campaign, inviting players to take on the role of a seasoned explorer.
The game takes place approximately 50 years after the original game ancient timestaking players back to the roots of the pioneering spirit. The project is pitched as an exploration-driven game: there are no common markers on the map, so players must rely on their own curiosity.
In addition to dynamic combat against unforgiving enemies, the trailer also showcases deep peaceful mechanics: resource extraction and processing, housing system, trading and exploring the mysterious world, either alone or with friends.
At the end of the video, the author announced that registration for Steam’s first online test has officially begun, inviting everyone to be the first to experience the upcoming new product.
